Salt Lake City, UT - Matchstick Productions' 20th feature length ski and snowboard film, "The Way I See It" will make its Utah debut this Saturday at The Rail Event Center in Salt Lake City. In conjunction with Ski ‘N See shops, screening sponsor Salomon is hosting a poster signing event in Sandy, with Salomon athletes Cody Townsend and Bobby Brown, both of whom are featured in the film.

Falun, Sweden - Park City's Lindsey Van scored two podium finishes over the weekend in Falun, Sweden in the women's Continental Cup ski jumping normal hill, HS98, event. Van was second on Saturday and third on Sunday, finishing ahead of Jessica Jerome, also of Park City, in third and fourth, respectively.

Lillehammer, Norway - Park City's Jessica Jerome led the U.S. in the Lillehammer Continental Cup over the weekend, finishing in third. Jerome had two solid jumps on the normal hill HS 100 to earn a podium spot on Saturday.

Las Leñas, Argentina - With a few inches of new snow and warmer temperatures, athletes were in great spirits and put on a fantastic show on Eduardo's, the massive, 2,500-vertical-foot venue at Las Leñas for the Argentinean Freeskiing Championships. Still, due to unseasonably low snowpack, this was definitely a different type of competition, not focusing so much on big airs, but technical lines and controlled fluidity.

Park City, UT - U.S. nordic combined skier Bryan Fletcher, who hails from Steamboat Springs, Colo., but makes his training home in Park City, is partnering with Red Banjo Pizza on Park City's Main Street to host a public autograph party with his Olympic teammates to help fight cancer this Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Proceeds will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Park City, UT - Teens are learning how to shred down the mountain and balance blood sugars in a special empowerment program called Riding on Insulin, taking place Dec. 11 at Canyons in Park City. The day, led by Sean Busby, a 26-year-old professional snowboarder with type 1 diabetes, promotes courage and confidence and shows children with type 1 or type 2 they can overcome mental and physical challenges.
