Snowbird, UT - October once again brings two weekends of free Aerial Tram rides at Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort this year with a donation to the Utah Food Bank. Snowbird Customer Appreciation Days will take place Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 11-12, and Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 18-19, weather permitting.

Snowbird, UT - Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort Owner Richard D. Bass and President Bob Bonar will be honored by the National Forest Foundation (NFF) for their conservation leadership at the Utah ski resort. A reception and honorary dinner, to be held at the Silver Lake Lodge on Oct. 4 at Deer Valley ski resort in Park City, will celebrate Snowbird's commitment to its local environment and distinction as the first ski resort in the nation to partner with the NFF in establishing a Ski Conservation Fund.

Neighboring Park City Mountain Resort has once again been ranked a top five ski resort for the third time in the magazine's reader survey since the 2004-05 winter season.

Park City, UT - A luxury resort property management company in five Western states has launched a website dedicated to recruiting over 500 new employees by October. The jobs, ranging from chefs and restaurant waiters to front desk clerks, shuttle drivers and housekeepers, are at ski and snowboard resorts including Park City and Deer Valley in Utah.

Park City, UT - Talisker Executive Chef Gavin Baker will open one of the nation’s first guerrilla restaurants, Mist, in Park City for ten nights in September. Open September 4-13, at the Rikka Studio at Kimball Junction, each intimate night will host only 20 attendees. The dinner will showcase Baker’s flair for multi-courses in a 10-course meal with wine pairings. Tickets are $250 each.
