Brian Head, UT - Brian Head Resort will close for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing for this winter season this Sunday. In conjunction with the Easter holiday weekend, the southern Utah ski resort will be celebrating their annual Spring Carnival and Easter Egg Hunt.

Brighton, UT - Contrary to initial reports, an avalanche at Utah's Brighton Ski Resort Sunday morning did not bury any skiers or riders. Ski patrol and other rescuers have completed their search without finding any additional victims.

Park City, UT - Visit The Canyons Resort on Saturday to witness one of the funniest events of the ski season, a qualifying round of The Red Bull 1976 Games. Teams of four people dressed in 70's ski gear will compete in a Snowbladecross and an Old School Air competition.

Solitude, UT - We may not know when the recession will be over, but we do know when Solitude's ski season will be: April 12th. The Utah ski and snowboard resort has helped to allay recession fears with $39 lift tickets in April.

Huntsville, UT - Sun Valley Company announced on Monday the appointment of Wallace Huffman to the position of Director of Resorts and Resort Development. Huffman has been the General Manager of Sun Valley Resort since 1977 and has had management responsibility for Snowbasin Resort in Huntsville, Ut. for most of the ownership of Earl Holding, which began in 1984. He will still have overall responsibility for both operations in his new role but will step away from the daily operations to concentrate on planning and development for the company's resort properties, including Snowbasin.
