Logan Canyon, UT - Beaver Mountain ski area in Logan Canyon will hold another public night for skiing and snowboarding to benefit the Logan Food Pantry tonight. Bring two non-perishable food items to earn a $5 night lift ticket, normally $12 without donation. During the public night, ski rentals will cost $10 (snowboards $12) and first-time beginner lessons will be offered for those age five and up for $5.

Parents can avoid an additional processing fee by submitting their student's application before Feb. 15. With more than two and a half months left of the 2009-10 winter season, there is still plenty of time to take advantage of the program.
