Denver, CO - According to the most recent data released by the Mountain Travel Research Program (MTRiP), reservation activity analyzed from a sample of 265 property management companies in 15 ski resort communities in the western U.S. through July 31 continued to show a solid performance in both summer-to-date reservations and for the upcoming ski season for participating mountain destinations. But a new level of national economic uncertainty in recent weeks is leading MTRiP analysts to caution against unguarded optimism.

Park City, UT - Visitors to Park City Historic District have seen an increase in al fresco dining venues this summer, with nine restaurants in the Utah ski resort town now offering seasonal outdoor dining on intimate curbside wooden decks constructed for the summer on Main Street. This is an increase from four restaurants in 2010.

Park City, UT - Gondola Resorts, Inc. has announced the vacation property rental company's expansion into the state of Utah. The firm will offer over 150 vacation rentals at three Utah ski resorts including Park City, Deer Valley and The Canyons via a downtown Park City office.

Salt Lake City, UT - New for the 2011-12 winter season, Ski Utah has announced the sale of its new Yeti Pass, which will enable pass holders to ski one day at every Utah resort for $499. That amounts to $35 per day.
