Salt Lake City, UT - Utah's Ski N’ See ski shops have teamed up with local radio station KODJ Oldies 94.1 and the Road Home Homeless Shelter as part of their Turkey Trolley campaign. People have already started to drop off cans of food at the downtown Salt Lake Ski N’ See location.

Salt Lake City, UT - There are three job positions opening for the 2007-2008 winter season within the Utah Avalanche Center. The center is looking for three forecasters - one part time in the Logan area, one part time in the Manti-LaSal Skyline area, and one full time in the Western Uinta Mountains.

Ogden, UT - The world’s largest sports equipment company recently announced their support in a program designed to improve Ogden’s air quality. The new corporate citizen is joining Ogden’s Mayor on his Fresh Air Friday Initiative – a program focused on reducing air pollution and improving the lives of Ogden citizens. Amer Sports Winter & Outdoor Americas, parent to both ski makers Salomon and Atomic, is backing the program by donating 25 bike racks for Ogden bike commuters, and encouraging its own employees to bike or become bus commuters with the help of subsidized bus passes.
