Copper Mountain, Colo. - Steven Nyman, an Audi FIS Alpine World Cup winner and multiple podium finisher at the Audi Birds of Prey downhill in Beaver Creek, Colo., will miss the 2012 World Cup season following a training crash on Nov. 8 in Colorado.

Park City, UT - A pro rider by day and a plumber by night, Jonathan Cheever mixes his talent like plumber's putty by shredding park, pipe and the snowboard cross (SBX) course. While all of his major results have come from SBX, he's known for some of the biggest airs in the pipe and credits his SBX speed from knowing how to hit the hole shot and handle big kickers in the course.

She is the silver medalist from the 2011 Freestyle World Ski Championships held in Park City, and the 2010 Winter X Games gold medalist in women's halfpipe skiing. Park City, UT - Park City Mountain Resort on Thursday announced the addition of Japanese halfpipe snowboarder Kazu Kokubo to the Park City All Star team. As part of the partnership, "Kazu" will call Park City Mountain Resort his home mountain and will primarily train in the resort's Eagle Superpipe, as well as with a Monster Energy branded airbag, in order to perfect his halfpipe run for the upcoming contest season.
