Eden, UT - Powder Mountain is hosting the first annual ski benefit this Friday for the family of Brett S. Earl. Earl, a resident of the nearby town of Eden, died unexpectedly of a heart attack on April 11 at the age of 39. One-hundred percent of the proceeds of the ski benefit will go directly to the Earl family – Darnelle, Riley, Raj, Taj and India.

Sundance, UT - Jerry Warren, Director of Mountain Operations at Utah's Sundance Resort, will be presented a National Lifetime Achievement Award on Saturday at the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) National Academy at nearby Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort. The Lifetime Achievement Award has only been given to six people in the 50-year history of this national organization of professional ski and snowboard teachers.
