Salt Lake City, UT - Although professional snowboarder Kevin Pearce has a long recovery ahead of him, according to his representatives, his doctors are "cautiously" optimistic given his current progress. Pearce has been upgraded from critical to serious condition according to his doctors at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, and this is a very big step in Pearce's recovery process.
