Lake Placid, NY - Park City's Jessica Jerome led three of her fellow Utahans to take the title at today's 2010 U.S. Ski Jumping Championships in Lake Placid, N.Y. as part of the Adirondack Mountain town's annual Flaming Leaves Festival. Nick Alexander of Andover, N.H. won the men's title.

Park City, UT - Employees of Deer Valley Resort will host the "Transylvania Tea Party" blood drive, a Halloween season tradition at the Utah ski resort, on Friday, Oct. 30. The Transylvania Tea Party Blood Drive was started six years ago by Deer Valley staffers who wanted to help local health care facilities augment their blood supplies. Members of the public are also welcomed to donate blood at Deer Valley during the event.

Mt. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania - Paralympic champion and U.S. Adaptive Ski Team alum Chris Waddell of Park City, Utah on Wednesday became the first paraplegic to reach the 19,340-foot summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. The One-Revolution team and Waddell began their journey of climbing to largest freestanding mountain in the world a week earlier.
