Salt Lake City, UT - With summer heat in Salt Lake City still sizzling in the 90s, it's sometimes hard to believe that snow is only 60 days away. Utah sometimes receives its first dusting of mountain snow as early as September but most often by October. To celebrate the approach of Utah’s favorite precipitation, Ski Utah has partnered with Ben & Jerry’s at The Gateway in downtown Salt Lake City to give away free Ben & Jerry’s Vanilla ice cream on Wednesday, Aug. 27 from 2 to 5 p.m. The spot will be marked with a nine-foot tall inflatable yeti.
