Park City, UT - Talisker Executive Chef Gavin Baker will open one of the nation’s first guerrilla restaurants, Mist, in Park City for ten nights in September. Open September 4-13, at the Rikka Studio at Kimball Junction, each intimate night will host only 20 attendees. The dinner will showcase Baker’s flair for multi-courses in a 10-course meal with wine pairings. Tickets are $250 each.

Park City, UT - A group of U.S. Snowboarding's halfpipe rookies wrapped up a week of work that included skateboards, trampolines and treadmills Friday during its summer camp in Park City. The rookies were there to spend time at the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association's headquarters, getting to know their team and training together.

Utah sometimes receives its first dusting of mountain snow as early as September but most often by October. To celebrate the approach of Utah’s favorite precipitation, Ski Utah has partnered with Ben & Jerry’s at The Gateway in downtown Salt Lake City to give away free Ben & Jerry’s Vanilla ice cream on Wednesday, Aug. 27 from 2 to 5 p.m. The spot will be marked with a nine-foot tall inflatable yeti.
