Denver, CO - Building on the trends first noted in late April, on-the-books summertime occupancy is up 16.2 percent for the month of June at a sample of ski resort destinations across Utah as well as Colorado, California and Oregon, according to figures released yesterday by the Mountain Travel Research Program (MTRiP). The data, sampled as of May 31, also shows an increase in bookoings of 17.7 percent for the next six months (June through November), compared to the same period last year.

Heber, UT - Steven Nyman, born and bred in Utah, was skiing at age two (Dad ran the ski school at Sundance) and was a discretionary pick for the 2002 Junior Worlds squad where he landed two medals.
