Park City, UT - Park City Mountain Resort, in conjunction with the Park City Ski Team and U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association, will proudly welcome Park City native, U.S. Ski Team alpine racer and lifetime Park City Mountain Resort skier Ted Ligety home from an historic World Cup season on April 6. The homecoming, held in the resort plaza, will be free and the public is encouraged to attend.

Park City, UT - Hannah Kearney made it back-to-back wins at Deer Valley Resort and her third of the season, taking dual moguls on Saturday night at the Visa Freestyle International. Canada's Alex Bilodeau won for the men.

Park City, UT - Maxim Gustik of Belarus took his first World Cup win for the men on Friday night in the the Visa Freestyle International's aerials competition at Utah's Deer Valley Resort, with Mengtao Xu of China winning by an impressive 36-point margin in the women's.

Park City, UT - Olympic champion Hannah Kearney led a USA sweep as the American women dominated in the Visa Freestyle International at Deer Valley Resort on Thursday. It was only the second USA women's podium sweep in World Cup history, after a 2010 event at Whiteface Mountain near Lake Placid, N.Y.

Park City, UT - The Sprint U.S. Grand Prix returns to Utah's Park City Mountain Resort this week for this season's second stop with halfpipe snowboarding and freeskiing featuring 2002 Olympic gold medalist Kelly Clark, of West Dover, Vt.; defending freeskiing champion Maddie Bowman, from South Lake Tahoe, Calif.; and Utah local and four-time Grand Prix champion Louie Vito.

Salt Lake City, UT - It was announced today that Outdoor Retailer (OR) trade show organizers, backed by the unanimous support of the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) board of directors, have decided that the Winter and Summer Market trade shows will remain at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah through the end of 2016.

Los Angeles, CA - A number of qualified cities were named last week by ESPN, which owns the X Games franchise, as potential venues for the Winter X Games once the current contract with Aspen, Colo., expires. Two finalists will be determined by April and host cities will be announced by the end of the year.

Snowbird, UT - Twenty-eight teams of highly-trained avalanche rescue dogs and their handlers from around the country have gathered in Little Cottonwood Canyon this week for avalanche victim search drills, beacon searches, helicopter training and classroom sessions conducted by Wasatch Backcountry Rescue (WBR).
